Editing PHP Script With MySQL In Window Box

What would you do when you bought a script - to be more specific, a PHP script which required MySQL database. And you don’t know a flip about these two thing. But to your curiosity wanted to learn or to test what and how the PHP script function. I once do this by simply upload all the files to my server using FTP client. But the problem with this, it takes to much time, It took me 20 minutes to upload hundreds of files at once. Well this is no really problem to me, i have all the time. The problem really happened is when things are not working the way i want. So i have to reedit some of the file and reedit again until i get the way i want, and sometimes i wil want the change the appearance. This is very tedious and time consuming when everytime i have to do editing.

wamp

So this is when WAMPServer came in. It’s a software where you install in you PC and turn it into a webserver - you have it open to the world or not. But i have it close, since i use it only for editing my PHP script that i bought or get it from the net. This software includes Apache, MySQL and PHP. It’s install all these three and walahh…. you have a Apache webserver with PHP and MySQL.

As you can see all the navigations will be in the task bar every time you start the programme. Now everything is just point and click. All you have to do is just place your script into the www folder and set your MySQL database with PHPMyAdmin.

By using WAMP i just save many hours editing my website, ecpecially if it’s using PHP and MySQL.Try it your self just go to WAMPServer and download it.

Bring your desktop anywhere

Now days people just keep developing new gadgets, software’s and services making people on the net life easier. In this post, i want to talk about Desktoptwo that i have tested and reviewed. Imagine being able to bring everything in your desktop to anywhere (of course you need an Internet connection for this).

Yes, you can bring anything standard desktop have to anywhere in your browser. By using this service, user are entitle 1 Gig of hard drive and daily use application such as Open Office, IM, PM3 player, mail client, web editor, address book, rss feed and others. And it works flawless. This service might be use full to people who are likely busy with daily life but an netacholic.

There a draw back though with this desktop mimic service. User must have a high speed connection to use on it. Since it’s uses flash and java, plugin also must be installed. I’ve been using Desktoptwo for a couple of month, and i had fun using it, the fact that i like the 1 gig space, I use it alot upload and download my files (accually i only use the space:)). But as i said earlier, i need a fast internet connection to use Desktoptwo.

Oh did i mention, the service is free to sign up. Though it’s currently Beta testing. Go ahead try it yourself.
